What Actually Happens During a Tutoring Session?
Our sessions run for 50 minutes in length. During the session we address the gaps in knowledge of the student and set up the student with resources so they can study effectively. Each tutoring session looks a little different. We do what works best for that student. Some students need more study resources so we provide them. For others, they need help going through their assignments or studying for tests. We typically spend most of the session solving practice problems together.
How Much Does High School Tutoring Cost?
Online tutoring costs $70 per session and in-person tutoring costs $95 per session. We also offer a prepaid 8-session package where you pay for 8 sessions in advance and you get a $40 discount.
Should I do Online or In Person Tutoring?
This really depends on the student. For most students I suggest that they try online tutoring first. If they don’t have access to a computer or a workspace then in-person tutoring tends to work better. For in-person tutoring we can meet at your home, in a coffee shop, or at your school. Online tutoring tends to be a bit easier to schedule. For online sessions you’ll get a PDF of the notes that we go through after the session. You also have the option to record online sessions.
