What a math tutoring session looks like.

Sessions run 50 minutes. We start by finding the gaps in a student's understanding, then set them up with the resources they need to study effectively on their own. Every session looks a little different. Some students need more practice resources, others need help working through assignments or studying for a test. Most of the time is spent solving practice problems together, covering everything from Math 8 up through Calculus 12.

Online or in person, whatever works best.

For most students we suggest trying online tutoring first, since it tends to be easier to schedule. If a student doesn't have access to a computer or a quiet workspace, in-person tutoring tends to work better. We can meet at home, in a coffee shop, or at school.

Online sessions come with a PDF of the notes afterward, with the option to have the session recorded.

Math skills carry straight into physics and chemistry, so plenty of our students work with us on more than one subject at a time. Heading to college or university? We also offer math tutoring at the college level, including calculus.
