Why Tutoring?
When I was in engineering school, I noticed a few things.
First, it was a lot harder than high school. I found that I had to study a lot harder to get good grades. The workload was heavier and I needed to make the best use of my time If I wanted to excel.
Second, I really enjoyed studying with my friends. When getting ready for tests, we would ask each other tough questions to make sure that we understood. It helped with my own understanding and felt great to be able to help others.
Third, having good resources makes all the difference. To learn quickly, you need a detailed formula sheet and a complete set of practice problems.
After graduating, I worked for a year as an engineer before starting a tutoring business. I wanted to help others with their learning and pass on the knowledge that I’ve built up over years of studying.
The focus has always been to give students the tools they need to study effectively.
