What a biology tutoring session looks like.

Sessions run 50 minutes and look a little different for every student, since our tutors work with each one to find what suits them best. For biology, this typically means practicing terms, definitions, and diagrams. The goal is always the same: being able to explain how a biological system actually works, not just recall its parts.

Online or in person, whatever works best.

We usually suggest students try online tutoring first, since it's easier to schedule. You'll get a recording of the session and a PDF of the notes. If you don't have a quiet workspace at home or access to a computer, in-person tends to work better. We can meet at a coffee shop, at school, or at home.
