"Matt is a great tutor! I am currently enrolled in UVIC and had to complete PHYS 111 for an engineering requirement. Even though my grades very low on my mid terms (at average of maybe 40% before I hired Matt). I decided to hire Matt to see if he could help save me from repeating the course. After a few sessions, Matt helped me save my grade and pass the course.

Over our sessions together, Matt was very patient and understanding when it came to explaining and demonstrating subjects to me. He helped me understand in a visual way rather than just "by the textbook" and the he made it easy for me to break down complicated worded questions. I especially liked the example questions that he gave in our sessions because they were sourced from previous UVIC PHYS 111 semesters.

"Matt is wonderfully patient, easy going and intelligent. For those of us who struggle with understanding STEM courses, Matt is a breath of fresh air. His demeanour is non-judgemental and he's happy to go over (and over and over haha) a subject with you. He has many tricks up his sleeve in terms of different methods of problem solving and viewing concepts which has been immensely helpful. We don't all learn the same way but you will certainly find his array of lessons essential to your learning. Personally, my grades have gone from the low 50s to mid 80s and 90s. Thank you, Matt."
